It's not awful, but not really creative either (I didn't get to the end, but it hints at some plot twists, even). The game has you following a pretty cliche story of going after your father who abandoned you and left you only with a dragon egg. There is an optional gacha element in the form of "Golden Eggs" you can buy and hatch for random rare monsters, but most of the monsters dropped can be captured or fused eventually (if not all)Īlso, the game is open-world (not just clicking your desired mission, beating, clicking next, rinse and repeat) and has some nice quests/sidequests to keep you busy (more old-school RPG style). It is famous for its extremely strong attacks. Pedro, Medo, Grosstarock, Solo Whist, Herooj, Grand Bazaar, Blue Skies. The game has you capturing and training monsters akin to Pokemon, with evolutions and fusion between your monsters, with the main difference being that you run teams of upwards of 20 monsters, in 3v3 battles IIRC (when one dies, another takes it's place), making for some grueling and strategic battles (some boss fights have as many monsters as you do). Wolf God can be obtained by combining two Thunder Wolves, resulting in a monster of the element of air. Impasse, Dragon Bridge, Once Upon A Forest, Takara Island, Detective Poker. To get to the underworld, go to Swinedene and travel to the three mountanous structures near the peninsula.
The highest license is the Grandmaster License. Chaos Rider is easily the strongest monster in the game.
